Paper Art

I have been creating paper art for about 8 years now. Here is a selection of artworks that I created for two exhibitions.

The first and most recent exhibition was called Ariel, held at M-16 Art Gallery in Canberra, 2019. The theme of this group exhibition was loosely around the idea of flight. My artwork referenced the fruit bats that inhabit Sydney’s Botanic Gardens.

The second set of images is from the exhibition The Devil Made Me Do It held at He Made She Made gallery, Sydney in 2012, and was the first time I exhibited my paper art.

These paper works are constructed from layered paper and card to create a sense of depth, a technique I continue to play with today.
