I have been creating paper art for about 10 years now. Here is a selection of artworks that I created over that time.
These paper works are constructed from layered paper and card to create a sense of depth, a technique I continue to play with and evolve.
The name of this artwork is Crab Still Life. It was part of an exhibition called Shoreline, held at M16 Artspace, in Griffith, A.C.T in 2021.
Crab still life built on techniques I've used over the past decade, but introduced hand painted textures created with gauche and spray paint.
This series of artworks were produced for an exhibition called Ariel, held at M-16 Art Gallery in Canberra, 2019. The theme of this family group exhibition was loosely around the idea of flight. My artwork referenced the fruit bats that inhabit Sydney’s Botanic Gardens.
This set of paper artworks were produced for an exhibition called The Devil Made Me Do It, exhibited at He Made She Made gallery, Sydney (sadly no longer in existence). This was the first time I exhibited my paper art.
Just a little paper experiment I put together combining two iconic 80s werewolf films.
